An acquaintance who did the show was hit in the head when one of the Elphabas (I think it was Shoshana Bean or Eden Espinosa) dropped the broomstick one day.
Who needs a broom when you have an enchanted cherry picker draped in black cloth?
You mean the broom isn't really magical? For shame!

You have evidence...LOL? What a few pics of me with people at STAGEDOOR which I posted on another board? You have a serious problem and really need help TimeSquare3.
No, not pictures. It's a little more hilarious.
The one thing that's ALWAYS annoyed me about this effect is, she should be SITTING on the broom. Otherwise, if it's causing her to fly, shouldn't she be hanging by both hands and doing chin-ups?

I always thought TheCharleston was Chance, but now thinking of his comment about the Lupwners, I gotta go with TDH.
Actually, I think TheCharleston is a dance.

I would imagine they opted out of having her sit when they decided on the cherry picker instead of having her suspended by wire. The whole issue with that effect is having to belt while flying. It would be difficult to sing the song in a Peter Pan type harness and it would also be difficult to belt while sitting.
