"Elton John and his partner, David Furnish, have signed on to the producing team of the upcoming Broadway transfer NEXT FALL, a new play about the happiness, strains and religious differences between two gay men over the course of their five-year romantic relationship."
Congratulations to the play for a well-deserved celebrity backing.
Hopefully this endorsement will get butts in seats. I really want this play to succeed.

I'm eager to see this play and the fact that this is the first straight (excuse the pun) play that Elton has endorsed, that may provoke interest...
I'm dying to see this and cannot wait until my birthday to get tix.

I mean, every Broadway musical Elton John is involved with is a massive flop, so clearly this can only be bad.
/sarcasm
Same can be said for Billy Elliot as well.
And we all know AIDA lasted only, what 5 or 6 performances before that closed.
But Lestat was something else! I still can't get tickets...

"This timely and compelling new American play forces us all to examine what it means to 'believe' and what it might cost us not to."
This statement makes me curious as to what it means.
