Fine, but that certainly doesn't make it fair. Standing ovations should be given for good acting, but I still can't believe a show that people love as much as this can't get them anymore. Maybe it's because it's weaker than it used to be but... oh, I have no idea what I'm saying. It just bugs me.

to rent it depends on the night. One night i went and everyone got tickets. Another night it was packed!

congrats on winning emcee! and nice review! i was gonna try this past week (yay for midterm week!) but all my friends chickened out on me and said it was too cold. the SECOND it gets warmer i'm trying again.

ooh Emcee you are soo lucky! Great review! But yes, the lack of a standing ovation disturbs me very much...i've only seen RENT twice on Broadway and twice on tour, but there's always been a standing ovation when i've seen it! But yoiu said the audience was blah, so whatever. I'm sure the show still gets one most nights! 
And if BKLYN gets standing o's all the time, then maybe they have stopped being the mark of a truely AMAZING performance. Oh well, the important thing is the show itself fis still in great shape after almost a decade!! Woohoo!!

Kelly was GREAT, greenifyed. And I saw Jeremy once from lottery seats on the side.... GAH. Cary didn't look as good in the pants, I'm sorry to say... he's put on some weight. A believable Roger would be a bit skinnier than he is now, but I still loved him.
