Posted: 5/22/12 at 10:41amA friend saw on a friends Facebook that this is getting a recording. Has this already been announced? Or has anyone else heard this? If so, their entire season will have been recorded.

Yeah, it's being recorded. Hilty announced it on her twitter a few weeks ago.
Originally it was going to be a live recording (like PIPE DREAM) but they decided to go into the studio instead.

Not only did it sound fantastic... it looked even better. Still does, actually.

So sad that the reports are that it is being recorded this week, to be released in 2013. Probably to capitalize on Megan Hilty's return to "Smash" in January. But really...
Unless they are planning on incorporating some "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" action into "Smash" next season...
