End of a long weekend

So rarely do I get to see shows in NY. What's it like if there is a Friday night, two Saturdays, and two Sundays, what's that last show like ? Should I be wary?

No. almost never. They are professionals.In fact, I've know actors to sat it's their favourite show of the week, they give it everything they have left.

I hear they're so tired they have to sit in wheelchairs and be pushed around the stage by stage hands. And sometimes the try to speak their lines and they're so tired, nothing comes out. The audience are given scripts beforehand and if the actors can't say the words, they ask the audience to shout it out for them.

Thanks, I'm not seeing that many, Hamilton line sitter one day, Falsetto's one day, Great Comet one day, and thinking maybe adding DEH for a Sunday night.

I see Sunday night shows all the time and I've never seen a tired cast. I like to maximize my theater-going so I definitely binge-watch as many shows as possible. One thing I stopped doing though was seeing a matinee and then flying out afterward because it became too much to race back to the hotel, get my bags, try and get to the airport, and have all of that travel stress happen so late in the day.

Sunday night performance audiences usually include a lot of actors and industry people. The actors are thus frequently performing for their friends and peers, which can give a jolt. Additionally, Sunday night audiences are usually comprised of people who really want to be there. As someone who works in the industry and seen the ebb and flow of performances firsthand, I'd concur that Sunday evening shows are often among the best performances of the week.
