re: Erin Dilly's Final Performance

As nice as she is, I still don't get it. I always thought her acting was weak. Maybe it wasn't all her fault, being plunked right next to Raul who can be over-the-top dramatic. But still weak. Granted this role isn't big league acting, but I still felt like there could have been better acting on her part.

Heh, the first time I saw Chitty, when he was standing behind the machine at the beginning of the second scene, he was singing "Let's Go Fly A Kite." re: Erin Dilly's Final Performance

re: Erin Dilly's Final Performance

I personally think that Erin is amazing and that her performance is not weak at all! But that's my opinion!
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

I was at the second preview, and Raul came out of the stage door singing "Everybody wants to be a Cat" from the Aristocats. I thought "damn, that's a side of him I've never seen."

Wait, what is Erin doing after Chitty?
Question: Will Esparza win for The Homecoming? BobbyBubby: I hope so. If only for the mental health of many people on this board.

I don't think she has any shows lined up at the moment. But I know she's looking into a few things.

You're right. Tangents are bad.

Do you remember what some of the ad-libs were about her leaving were?

re: Erin Dilly's Final Performance

haha! you totally are:p

Yes, one of them was right before they were going to drive for the first time. They always adlib there and Erin said "I have the picnic to end all picnics"

And then when they were taking off at the very end Raul said "We're going to make a special stop in New Jersey tonight." Cause that's where Erin lives. It was adorable. It made Erin laugh though the many tears!

I talked to Marc last night. And I told him I love his new Chilli Peppers thing. He laughed and said "eh, we've got a few more weeks to goof off!" He cracks me up.

re: Erin Dilly's Final Performance

i saw Erin back in mid April and thought she was excellent. I will be at the final performance and am interested to see how her understudy compares to Erin. Good luck to her in her future projects!

re: Erin Dilly's Final Performance

I'll be there as well:) I'm very sad about that show. I'm also very sad that Erin wont be there. I didn't want to see any understudies for her:/

The chili peppers line was awesome. But it was even better that even the other people onstage and the conductor were all cracking up as well. Yay for Marc being back!

re: Erin Dilly's Final Performance

That is SO true. He was falling apart yesterday. His buttons wouldn't button and the thing on his shoulder fell off. And right after the baroness faints because of the children and he goes into his little speech about how Vulgaria can take it's proper place in the world once more (I love how he delivers that line...with the bear, btw). Anyway, before Ken throws him the bear his belt fell off. He stopped and said "vait, vait, I'm coming undone!" he fixed it and went on but how he delivered it was hilarious!!!
