Posted: 12/10/05 at 11:07amAs nice as she is, I still don't get it. I always thought her acting was weak. Maybe it wasn't all her fault, being plunked right next to Raul who can be over-the-top dramatic. But still weak. Granted this role isn't big league acting, but I still felt like there could have been better acting on her part.

Heh, the first time I saw Chitty, when he was standing behind the machine at the beginning of the second scene, he was singing "Let's Go Fly A Kite."

Posted: 12/10/05 at 11:10amI was at the second preview, and Raul came out of the stage door singing "Everybody wants to be a Cat" from the Aristocats. I thought "damn, that's a side of him I've never seen."

Too bad he's never in such a good mood anymore.
Isn't that song from a Disney cartoon?

I agree! Raul really is along for the ride! He gets so goofy sometimes.
Erin really is a phenomenal talent! She is such an amazing actress and has a beautiful voice! I can't wait to see what she does next.

You're right. Tangents are bad.
Do you remember what some of the ad-libs were about her leaving were?

haha! you totally are:p
Yes, one of them was right before they were going to drive for the first time. They always adlib there and Erin said "I have the picnic to end all picnics"
And then when they were taking off at the very end Raul said "We're going to make a special stop in New Jersey tonight." Cause that's where Erin lives. It was adorable. It made Erin laugh though the many tears!

Posted: 12/10/05 at 2:58pmI talked to Marc last night. And I told him I love his new Chilli Peppers thing. He laughed and said "eh, we've got a few more weeks to goof off!" He cracks me up.

Posted: 12/10/05 at 3:10pmi saw Erin back in mid April and thought she was excellent. I will be at the final performance and am interested to see how her understudy compares to Erin. Good luck to her in her future projects!

Posted: 12/10/05 at 3:57pmThe chili peppers line was awesome. But it was even better that even the other people onstage and the conductor were all cracking up as well. Yay for Marc being back!

Posted: 12/10/05 at 4:09pmThat is SO true. He was falling apart yesterday. His buttons wouldn't button and the thing on his shoulder fell off. And right after the baroness faints because of the children and he goes into his little speech about how Vulgaria can take it's proper place in the world once more (I love how he delivers that line...with the bear, btw). Anyway, before Ken throws him the bear his belt fell off. He stopped and said "vait, vait, I'm coming undone!" he fixed it and went on but how he delivered it was hilarious!!!
