Any Chance this will transfer to Broadway? I heard something about it but then never heard anything else
possibly taking the Helen Hayes when 39 steps closes

Posted: 9/21/09 at 5:00pmI can't say I was too Wowed by the show. I didn't hate it or anything, but I didn't love it as so many other people have. I really wished the show had more of the "youtube" type humor in it. The beginning to me wasn't so interesting, but I think it picked up about midway through.

Posted: 9/21/09 at 5:12pmtking, I think that was talked about when we all thought Second Stage was taking over. But in the thread about The 39 Steps, some seem to think that the deal is far from done. So who knows.

I'm with logan. The YouTube segment was the only part of the show I loathed. Scott shocked have sikked her husband on that obnoxious twerp to have his YouTube account cancelled for copyright violation

Posted: 9/23/09 at 8:21amIt is not taking the Helen Hayes. Another show will be following 39 Steps at the Hayes this spring.

Apparently, Everyday Rapture is hitting Broadway sometime soon-- in this description of her cabaret performance in Miami, it says that "Everyday Rapture" will move to Broadway "next spring."
I think that basically means it will come to Broadway when Second Stage takes over the Hayes...

Posted: 10/14/09 at 4:11pmI just read that website the other day and was contemplating whether to post it or not...I sure hope it transfers as I am a huge fan of Sherie Rene Scott AND I loved the show and would like to see it live again. However, I agree that it's probably not going to be a big hit...perhaps it will be a limited run, maybe 6 months and it would run into the summer so perhaps they are hoping to get a big crowd over the summer. I can only hope for the best! :)
