Hi there. I have Hiptix for this Saturday night that I bought and invited a friend. I can no longer attend but want to give the tickets to my friend (she's under 35).
Does anyone know if I can pick up the tickets in advance and just give them to her? I've only ever picked up tickets right before the show at will call and wasn't sure what policies they have in place for such a thing like this and whether I can pick up tickets in advance.
Appreciate the help. Thanks!

I use this program too, I think the earliest you can pick them up is the day of the show. I think you can pass them off to your friend then, but I think you need ID to pick up if I remember correctly.

I've gotten hiptix to many shows throughout the years and have only ever been asked for ID 2 times. Still, it's happened.
You may be able to call Roundabout and transfer them over to your friend, definitely so if they have an account themselves.

If you need someone to take them off your hands I'd be glad to pay for them!
When I picked up my Hiptix on the 15th, I had to show ID that indicated my age and sign for the tickets. I'd try calling and asking what their policy is, though, so you know if there are other options.

I've been ID'd every time I've done Hiptix for a show. I would recommend picking them up yourself and then passing them off to your friend.

I had a Hiptix Cabaret ticket for April 9th. I picked up my ticket the day before and she asked for my ID.

I just did Hiptix for Dinner With Friends a couple weeks ago and was asked for ID for that (and I believe last time I saw a show at American Airlines I was asked for one as well).
I suspect in particular for a show this popular, they're being extra careful to make sure no one over 35 beats the system, so I would recommend picking them up yourself if you can.
Thanks, everyone. I guess my post was unclear. I fully intend to pick them up myself and hand them off, just wasn't sure if I could pick them further in advance than day of - so tomorrow-Fri.
I just picked up the tickets with no problem, but my friend cant use them either.
I'm selling 2 Hiptix for this Saturday's 8pm show (4/26)
They're REAR MEZZ / CENTER RIGHT section / ROW LL
$50.00 total (what I paid)
As I work very close to the theater, hoping someone can meet me tomorrow during the day.
Please PM me. Thanks!
PM sent. Thanks!
tickets have been taken - thanks for the interest, all!

Does anyone know where the HipTix Gold Seats are? Also is there a way to see if seats are available for a specific performance date before upgrading my account?

Astinjeremy, seats in the following areas are $25 for Hiptix Gold members:
-Orchestra tables (NOT Floor tables) on the sides (tables 151-185 and 152-186)
-all bar rail seats (the ones on the Floor and the ones behind the Orchestra tables)
-all Mezzanine seats
I'm a Gold member and checked a far-off date with lots of seats left, and all available seats in those three areas show up as $25 for me. So you should just be able to look at the date you want and know that anything in those sections will be $25 after you've signed up.

I am about to book my HIPTIX tickets (I am under 35 years old), but I have a quick question.
Does anyone know if I buy a pair of tickets, does my friend who I want to invite to the show need to be under 35 as well? I need to know if I can invite her, wouldn't want to make her excited about this if I could not. Thanks!

I am going to pile on with a question of my own. Does an upgrade to Hiptix Gold allow access to a larger number of seats? We are members, but only at the initial level. I am wondering if the front mezz seats we purchased for a pretty penny could have been had for nearly a third of what we paid.
Thanks in advance!

I have a question: My sister has a Hiptix Gold account but is currently traveling for a few months, so she can't pick up tickets from the box office if I buy tickets under her account. I made my own account, and she gave me the gold account promo code, but I am not a gold member. Will they check for my name on a list or would it be okay?
