Family Guy/ Broadway Numbers

I know Family Guy has made fun of broadway and made parodies of broadway. Lets see how many clips we can find of the spoofs.

funny, I always took it as paying homage!
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Well thats what I mean. I think it raises awareness of some shows for people who have no clue of the shows.

No, I was definitely talking about theatrefan. You were just attempting to have a fun thread. People on here tend to look for opportunities to be snarky. Don't mind those people and you will almost always get some nice informative responses.

HAHA! that one is hilarious. "He's retarted PETER ISSSSSS SLOWW!!"

Family Guy/ Broadway Numbers

I can't remember exactly what the song was about but it was a spoof of Gypsy's "Everything's Coming Up Roses!"

Peter was singing it to Meg I think...i just always remembered it! Not the funniest of song they've ever done though.

Broadway doesn't just creep into the show as songs, the billboards to Wicked and Hairspray were in the background of the show at one point, and they mention many Broaway stars. I remember one being Stewie Griffin in the audience of Les Miserables, "oh, curtain up!" haha

....guess what i'm a fan of! hahaaa

^
That would be when he and Brian went to see Les Mis and right before curtain they announced that there would be an understudy for Jean Valjean. The understudy happened to be Kirk Cameron.

Not really. If I start singing 'Shipoopi', people mistake me for a Family Guy fan. If I gently correct them, they stare at me blankly like I've just told them I dream of fellating chickens or something. As far as they're concerned, it's nothing more than a funny song from Family Guy.
