Kevin Kline was at the peformance of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels that I was at.
Robert Sean Leonard was at the closing performance of Company.
Diane Keaton stepped on my foot on the was out of Grey Gardens. It was rather exciting....
At Gypsy this past Saturday nite I saw America Ferrera and the gay character (name?) from Ugly Betty, which I thought was cute since Patti played his mother, but I had better seats than they did.
Also at that performance was Hugh Dancy who is smoking hot in person!

Not Broadway, but WICKED in LA sees some celebrities. I was at the performance Britney Spears reportedly walked out on. Then last week, I saw Kevin Nealon a couple times before the show. And Johnny Depp(!) was supposedly sitting in the mezzanine. I may or may not have stuck around to get a glimpse.
I didn't see him

I just got back from the Sunday matinee of "Xanadu" and gotta tell y'all it was such a blast.
My friend Rick & I had just walked into the theater and were near the concession stand when I turned to see a familiar looking woman in a black trench pass behind me. I did a Regan-like "Exorcist" spin when I realized who it was... "OMG Lisa Rinna!" I gushed. She looked at me & smiled. Some guy cut in front of me and never left her side so I didn't get a chance to talk to her. I heard her tell the guy she was waiting until the show started to go in 'cause her knees were killing her!
Rick said to me "Where's Harry Hamlin???" & I laughed.
We went inside & had great seats in row E left side aisle. Then Rick (sitting on my left) looked over my shoulder & said "There's Harry Hamlin!!!" I did my Regan-like spin in the other direction this time (now my head's back on straight) & saw him sitting alone in row F, left of center 4th seat in. I wished for a pen & Rick pulled one out of his bag - duh. I buzzed over & sat in the empty seat next to Harry & I must say he was a doll. He looks even better in person than on TV. He asked my name & signed my "Xanadu" program & I told him I'm a big fan. He said he heard there was a comparrison to his "Clash of The Titans" in the show. I nodded in shellshock. I don't remember what else I babbled but he was really sweet, addressing me by name & chatting away. I thanked him & went back to my seat.
Lisa came in just as the show started. I kept checking their reaction to "Xanadu". Harry who is ususally very stoic was smiling broadly, lauging & chewing gum all the way through. They both seemed to enjoy it alot, but it was Lisa who clapped & laughed like mad all through the show, which is FABULOUS btw. It's a must see! I'm now a Fanadu!
OH - and yes - they not only mention "Titans" but at one point Cheyenne Jackson says "I must be Harry Hamlin!" and the Hamlins were really tickled by that, as were the audince members who knew they were there. Read my posts on the "Xanadu" love thread...

And then go to The Helen Hayes Theater & see "Xanadu"
As WonderRobbie would say "Do the du!"
Richard Kind was at 110 In The Shade on Friday night. He was by himself sitting a few rows behind me. When I saw him I smiled as he looked at me and he nodded. It was cool.
Apparently Martin Sheen was at Grey Gardens on Saturday. I only heard though, I never saw him.

Wow. So they DO know that musical theatre exists outside their creation. Impressive.
When I went to see Beauty in April 2006, one of my friends noticed that Jacob Young was also there.
Does anyone know if any of the stars of the "Grease" movie have seen the revival yet? (i.e., Newton-John, Travolta, Conn, Channing, etc.)
