I have time to see only 1 of these 2 shows. Any suggestions?
If you love or know of Nancy Anderson, I say see "Fanny Hill." BUT, I love you because is quite charming. I would only pick Fanny Hill if you are particular to Nancy Anderson. She makes the show.
I Love you Because, is overall a better show.
Hope this helps!
Fanny Hill is fabulouse, I recomend seeing it now, before it moves and tickets get more expensive.
ugh, I still don't know what to do. I think im just gonna flip a coin. I wanna see both shows and I have time just for one.
I saw FANNY HILL last night. It's dreadful. I usually give a show a chance, but I couldn't wait for this turkey to be over.
It's a great idea for a show, and the cast is game and tries very hard, but the score is colorless and instantly forgettable and the 'book' is leaden. And it's not remotely sexy or titialatting.
The luminous talents of Nancy Anderson and Emily Skinner are thoroughly wasted in this laugh-free would-be romp.
Just my .2.
ugh...now i was almost sure about going to see Fanny Hill, and again don't know what to do. I try not to listen to critics or friends when i go to see shows, but this time i really cant decide between 2 shows. Broadway.com raved Fanny Hill and almost trashed I love you because. So i officially can't decide.

Fanny Hill. Broadway.com and Musicals 101.com both loved it
yes, Broadway.com raved Fanny Hill and trashed I LoveYou Because. Anyhow about 20 people told me to go see the 2nd play. But i decided to go see Nancy Anderson in Fanny Hill. Because it is a limited engagement and i really wanted to see it. And i love Nancy, and now more than before. She has a vocal range i never knew she had. She said that she can't even talk during the day to avoid losing her voice. She was brilliant. The whole cast was amazing. The show was fresh, funny and had beautiful melodies. The set was great for the fact it was Off Broadway. The show was outstanding. Don't wait...go see the show before it's gone!!!
