I agree with all that's been said, but I'll add:
"That Kind of a Neighborhood" from SATURDAY NIGHT.
My favorite is the much mentioned "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast.
However, having just seen Billy Elliot, I am in love with the "Solidarity" number. So well done with the entire cast.
A few others I enjoy (that I don't think have been mentioned):
Voulez-Vous from Mamma Mia!
Christmas Bells from Rent (or La Vie Boheme)
In the Heights and 96,000 from In the Heights
Most definitely "Put on Your Sunday Clothes" from Hello, Dolly!
I also adore "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" from My Fair Lady.
I would like to add all of the ensemble songs from Music in the Air. they were just stunning.
A favorite would have to be Plenty of Pennsylvania from Plain and Fancy. That song can get stuck in your head like no other.
The always poignant Anatevka.

Another from South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut - the La Resistance Medley.
The Trolley Song from Meet Me in St. Louis.
Not from musical theatre, but the opening of Act IV of Carmen, through Carmen's entrance, especially when you have a great chorus. First time I worked on the show we had a chorus of 60, which compared of course to the numbers at places like the Met or SFO is on the small side, but still quite thrilling when compared to the size of the ensemble in your typical musical these days.

Lil' Abner has a bunch:
"A Typical Day in Dogpatch USA"
"Jubilation T. Cornpone"
"Don't The Take the Rag Off'n the Bush?"

While Mister Matt was thinking about WHISTLE DOWN THE WIND:
There was also "No Matter What" (the hopeful children's anthem, and the grown-up's angry manhunt), as well as "You Gotta Wrestle With the Devil!" Try adding those things to your "Angry Mob Song" list, EugLoven!
My favorite town songs were written by Menken and Ashman:
"Skid Row" from LSOH
and of course "Belle" from BATB.
And how about the lost Jim Steinman gem, "Garlic" from DOTV?
Or "Is That Remarkable" from FLOYD COLLINS?
"96,000" from IN THE HEIGHTS?
The opening to HELLO DOLLY before whoever plays Dolly comes out to screaming applause ("Call on Dolly! She's the one that spinsters recommend, etc.")
But, I believe, South Fl Marc, the title to the song that you were trying to bring up is "Get Me To the Church on Time." That song's title has been largely misattributed to "I'm Getting Married in the Morning" as it is the first line in the refrain, but [to quote David Tomlinson in a movie that is highly irrelevant] that is ENTIRELY beside the point. I should mention My Fair Lady also has the town singing "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" and "With a Little Bit O' Luck."
And I don't think anybody has brought up CONSIDER YOURSELF from Oliver!
"And I know it's not an original song but I liked the whole town singing "Can't Help Falling In Love" at the Act 1 finale of 'All Shook Up.'"
I have to second this one. I love the arrangement the show used.
I've seen two Newsies songs mentioned but we have to add "The World Will Know".
"Belle" from Beauty and the Beast
Also, any number choreographed by Gower Champion
(Favs: Put On You Sunday Clothes, and The Telephone Hour)
My absolutely favorite entire-town-singing-song is the courtroom reprise of "It Only Takes a Moment" from HELLO, DOLLY! It never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
my personal fave although its more "entire office" than "entire town" is Brotherhood of man from How to Succeed. I love how it builds onto itself, similarly Everyone's a little bit racist from Avenue Q

Also makes you laugh a little, because of what the judge says, and the crowd's reaction to it: "I missed a few words, Mr. Hackl, right after 'it only'" -- and the crowd immediately responds with "...takes a moment!"
I'm surprised there aren't more "Typical Day" from Li'l Abner fans. I love the effective establishment of stock characters.
"Every Sperm is Sacred" from The Meaning of Life. That whole movie was like one big acid trip, and I love it.

What about CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN from that same film?
