Not sure if it counts but Sweeney Todd is pretty bad-ass

Are you talking ensemble numbers?
"Henry Street" from FUNNY GIRL
"Voulez-Vous" from MAMMA MIA!
the first thing that came to my mind is "Christopher Street" from WONDERFUL TOWN. i know there are MANY MANY more that i love but i dont feel like going through my collection

"Are you talking ensemble numbers?"
I imagine the OP specifically means 'townspeople' numbers.
I immediately thought of "Belle" from BATB, but I personally have a soft spot for "We'd Like To Thank You" from ANNIE (which has a town, of sorts).
I had a similar thread on this discussion last year, but I was looking more specifically for "Angry Mob" songs... which are just as hair-raising.

I have to second 'Good Morning Baltimore' from Hairspray. <3
I reiterate "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast and "Downtown" from Little Shop.
I agree with all of EugLoven's choices.

The Wells Fargo Wagon, also from The Music Man.
Performing Iowa Stubborn was one of my favorite parts of being in The Music Man! I had totally forgotten about it until now.
I immediately thought of Eastwick Knows, from The Witches of Eastwick.
Me too! Dirty Laundry and I Love the Little Town from the same show are also wonderful.
'Belle' from Beauty and the Beast, by far.

Totally F*cked - Spring Awakening
I know it's not a stage musical, but since it very well should be one, I'm adding Seize the Day from the Newsies
