re: Question About Collecting Cast Albums
You must purchase every single solitary recording of anything that is even remotely connected with theatre to be a true collector. Otherwise you are just a wannabe. A good barometer is the number of Gypsy recordings you own. Anything less than 50 is unacceptable.

I liked Shrek. I thought the cast was superb. I also enjoyed the songs, especially the lyrics. Very clever.

I've heard mixed things about this musical, but anytime a show is preserved on dvd I think it's a good thing. Even a concert.

Geez, I love Gypsy, but I have 5 or 6 recording already (including the original Merman recording). I just can't see buying any more.
