This just sort of popped into my mind. What shows costumes did you enjoy the most?

"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."

Hmmm... I actually loved Wicked's costumes. They are so intricate. And glinda's are so much fun. I also love the phantom costumes.

I love Wicked's as well. Glinda's are gorgeous of course, but I love the ensemble costumes too. Brooklyn has extremely original costumes, especially the competition dresses.
I enjoyed the costumes of DRS, very colorful and light

Yeah I've got to give compliments to the costumes and costume designers in Wicked. They were very unique and intericate and beautiful. Elphabas dress was awsome in the sense that it wasnt just some simple black dress and cape in the 2nd act but it had all these different black fabrics and beadwork to it and Glinda's dress was gorgeous. I was glad to see that it wasn't the typical pink floofy dress. And all the ensemble costumes were very well done and interesting as well.

WICKED's costumes ARE great, but I tend to go for more subtle, realistic costumes - they appeal to me most. I would have to say recently, the extremely sexy and stylish costumes in NINE - they were 100% perfect, exactly fit the tone of the show, and were stunning.

Too many to list but I'll say that the Phantom costumes were amazing from up close, back stage.

Almost anything that William Ivey Long has touched.
Wicked's and Phantom's costumes are also gorgeous.

I love the costumes from CATS. They are so elaborate and intricate and completely different from anything that had ever been done before.

It's engineering as much as design, but I thought the cow in the Into the Woods revival was brilliant.

For that matter - all the animals in Lion King!

I'm a huge fan of simplicity...recently, my favorite costume was Charlotte's simple black house dress, head cap and pearls in I AM MY OWN WIFE.

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - Absolutely dazzling and intricate. The best costumes I've ever seen.

WICKED - Beautiful fabrics and overall design. I like how they strayed from the film.

We wore the original Broadway costumes in our tour of Sunday in the Park with George - they were each hand painted with very intricate designs - I'd have to say that those were my favorites.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

INTO THE WOODS

...both the original and revival had gorgeous costumes.

As far as a drama...definitely the revival of THE WOMEN.
