-KANSAS CITY; THE FARMER AND THE COWMAN from Oklahoma!
-LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU; ALL I NEED IS A GIRL from Gypsy

"Snuff the Girl" would have to be tops on my list...
I can't believe I'm hitting a wall when it comes to thinking up dance breaks. I *know* there's other ones I like, I'll just have to get back to that later.

I don't know how close the original Broadway production choreography was to the movie...pretty much every dance break in West Side Story is amazing.
Also I love most of the dance breaks in Chicago and the dance break in the opening number of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

I love the dance break in "You Can't Stop Th Beat" from Hairspray. It's not on the CD though
It comes in after Penny's part and Tracy say "This is my dance, and it's dedicated to everybody!". I looooooooooove the music, especially when the guitar comes in. -Penny
"You like football, Ed?" "Yeah..." "Good. Me too." -Chad & 'Ed', All Shook Up

Ooh ok it's not technically a dance break but I LOVE when Big Sue and Phillip do their little choreographed dance during "Sexual Confusion" in Taboo...it just cracks me up!! Oh come on you guys didn't think I'd leave Rauly out of this!

Okay I have to throw Rauly in too. I was scared to do this so I wouldn't seem TOO obsessed. Even though I am.
I love the dance break in No More from tick, tick... BOOM! If you listen closely on the cast recording you can hear Raul and Jerry talking in between and Raul says some thing along the lines of, "What are you doing?" and it sounds so funny when he says it. Okay, now I feel stupid.

Posted: 8/5/04 at 3:20amHas anyone noticed the dance break in the record store during "Run and Tell That" in Hairspray? The drums play loudly and the "negros" shake their booties! Not on the CD, but still fabulous! I love it!

I second the CATS dance breaks- at the beginning of Act 1 and again at the beginning of Act 2- best part of the show, IMO.
Also, the 42nd street dance breaks, the WSS ones, and also "Another Pyramid" from Aida.
