I love their Titanic spoof, but then again that show holds a special place in my heart. But my fav has to be ALW singing "Hate Me" to the tune of Memory:
Hate me
Why does everyone hate me?
Alan Lerner once told me
Its because it saves time...
I heart forbidden b'way.

I've always loved the Julie Andrews, 'I Couldn't Hit The Note.'
"...and when I push I pee."
Priceless!

I Don't have one favorite.
My oldest favorite was called Chita/Rita.
The newer ones:
Wickeder- I call it Defying Chenoweth. It was outstanding with Jen Simard as Chenoweth.
I also love "It Sucks To Be You"
"Let's Ruin Times Square Again"
" You Can't Stop My Seat"
I love almost every skit in every Forbidden Broadway, except the La Cage one.
Forbidden Broadway is my favorite show of all time.
I also love the ASSASSINS number and the I Am My Own Wife number.
Jen Simard did a very good impersonation of Bernadette Peter's, another favorite. (But, I thought Bernadette was brilliant in Gypsy, she just sounds exactly like her and that was fun)

Well I've always loved Liza one note and so The Boy is Odd is one of my new FB favorites. "mama? It's me... It's liza remember me?"
The Phantom of the musical is another fav of mine. "Sing, -squeak- Sing! -squeak- Sing!! -Squeak-" When he turns into Mickey Mouse... I lose it. :)

I love the Sarah Brightman spoof in the current SVU version. Also, "It Sucks To Be Us" is hilarious! Plus, all of the Tony Awards spoofs are fantastic!

I love all Christine Pedi's Liza imitations! They're hilarious!
Also that Julie Andrews spoof "I couldn't hit the note" Practically Perfect mentioned is fab.
And I have to say I enjoy the Wicked spoof as well, "Oooh, Monkeys!! Monkeys!! Noooo monkeys!!!"

I think Volume 2 is probably also my favorite.
From other volumes: I also love the "Ann Miller - I'm still Wierd" parody and "Beauty's Been Decreased." Felicia Finley's Heather Headley is also pretty hysterical.
Jennifer Simard's Bernadette Peters is brilliant on SVU, but I don't think the the writing of the actual parody is very good.
Speaking of - the best spoof lyric Alessandrini ever wrote is probably the Julie Andrews spoof from STAR on FB Strikes Back which was never used in the show, only played at the end as the audience left the theatre.

Posted: 7/27/05 at 1:05pmI'm on the "Liza One-Note" bandwagon, and the Merman-Martin parody, when Merman says "Swell! Wasn't that Swell? Now, who'd like to hear ME sing a duet?" LOVED IT!
