I don't think they ever made the recordings, but the spoof of ASPECTS OF LOVE had all of them naked behind a sheet with Alex singing:
"I,
I sleep with everyone
Sleep with Ginny
Sleep with Rose"
I was screaming!

And GRIM HOTEL for GRAND HOTEL. Too, too many sight gags to every get across in one message.

I don't have a favorite. I love every edition.
I just hate the La Cage SPOOF.
Hate it!

"My name is Chita not Rita" to the tune of "America" is my favourite by far.

Les Miz "Ten Years More"

"And now, for those of you who missed it. The final scene of the musical version of "Anna Karenina". THE FASTEST CLOSING SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!!"

Anna comes out and starts to sing to the tune of "On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe"

Do you hear that train come round the bend?
It means the tale of Anna is about to end
As I throw myself to my new address
'Neath the Ashkebad, Tblisi, and Kiev Express."

I saw that in the theatre and never heard such an eruption of laughter in my life. I missed all of the first verse because of the laughs.

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

"...and i swear i saw an angel in gold (something) and she looked like Lady Tien from The King and I"
the "DAPHNE!!" is hilarious as well.

i love "it's cheesy as cats" also.

"hi heather! i love your dress! it's so purple! I'll see you at the pool! smile! who died? god!"

Mine has always been the Pirates of Penzance spoof on the first disc. I can't listen to Pirates without singing the FB lyrics:

"Oh is there not one maiden's breast
That doesn't flutter at my beauty."

For a while, I thought those were the actual words!

I also love Into the Words and the Les Mis parody, especially "I Dreamed a Show" and "Bring It Down"

"God it's high
This song's too high
Pity me
Change the key"

Hilarious!

oh, i get it now ..."

"lift up the drops, let go the lines,

look like they're from a high school show

"How we gonna get, seats to RENT??" I've always loved all the RENT spoofs. Especially This Aint Boheme and Seasons of Hype. :-P Also Wickeder. I love FB in general but SVU and FB Strikes Back are the only two I currently own.

I kinda switch between favorites. Just recently re-discovered the Guys and Dolls segment on Volume III since I just finished playing Sarah Brown in a local production. re: Favorite Forbidden Broadway spoof?

"So let's reprise
And pass out free caffeine
'Cause everyone has seen
This show before!"

Ahhh, and Nathan Lane: "I see scenery and chew it! Chew it!"

And on a similar note, I quite enjoy "No Leading Lady Tonight" from SVU...

Three favourites of mine...
Anna Karenina, Sarah Brightman (Time I Said Goodbye) and The Lion King with the elephant costume that looks like one of the banana splits.

Alterego, Time I Said Goodbye is one of my favorites too! I saw Donna English do it, and she was FRICKIN AMAZING! I love it. Some other favorites are Super-Frantic-Hyper-Active-Self-Indulgent-Mandy, the Michael Crawford Sequence, Parody Tonight, Titanic, and If I sing it Slower... Gerard Alessandrini deserves a Tony for SOMETHING...haha...

I hold a degree in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University. It is useless. Now I'm funny for money. Oh, and I sing.

I love Patti LuPone in Anything Goes. Also, Bernadette Peters in Annie Get Your Gun.

ps. The woman who plays Bernadette Peters in the latest Gypsy spoof sounds exactly like her. It's amazing.

MISS ELPHIE:

* The LES MIS spoof is originally on "Forbidden Broadway vol. 2" cd (light yellow cover), and there's another one on "Forbidden Broadway Cleans Up Its Act" cd (darker yellow cover) AND a shorter version of the first one on "Forbidden Broadway 20th Anniversary Edition" cd.

* RENT spoofs are on "Forbidden Broadway Strikes Back" cd, 6 RENT tracks altogether.

CHESS12:

* ASPECTS OF LOVE number was never released on the 'official' show recordings, but that brilliant "Love Changes Everything" spoof (= "I Sleep With Everyone") you were referring to is featured on the "Forbidden Broadway 20th Anniversary Edition" cd.

I'm also a big fan of the RENT and Les Miz spoofs. My favorite is "Ouch They're Tight." Whoever is playing "Daphne/Mimi" is perfect at imitating her little grunts and groans. And whoever is playing Anthony/Mark sounds perfect.
