Though many will argue, I think both CHICAGO and SWEENEY TODD would fall into the 'modern' category (though not as actress posted it...1990-2005). Some people will argue that the Golden Age ended with FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Others with HAIR. Still others with FOLLIES. But certainly by 1976 we were out of what is considered the Golden Age.

I think the movie "Broadway: The Golden Age" define The Golden Age as pre-1970.
