NO MORE from INTO THE WOODS.

Not While I'm Around
Marry Me a Little
I, actually, helped out a girl with whom I go to school who needed a Sondheim song for a class. Most of the most popular ones had already been taken. (She ended up doing "The Girls of Summer".)
So, I would recommend some of the lesser known Sondheim songs:
"Class" from "Saturday Night"
"With So Little To Be Sure Of" from "Anyone Can Whistle" (Check the vocal selections first. I think they have it as a solo.)
"Water Under the Bridge" from the never done William Goldman/Rob Reiner film, the name of which escapes me.
"Multitudes of Amys" cut from "Company"

"Take Me To The World" is a duet sung between a man and a woman."
LOL Who cares if it's a duet? It's a fantastic song for a man to sing at an audition. I used it for years. It also happens to be in a few compilations suggested specifically for tenors.
Meh... I'm being fickle. I'd have to say it's a toss up between Lesson #8, and Everybody Says Don't now.

Music of the Night.
Sondheim poured his heart and soul into that piece.
