Tartaglia pulled the same routine with Hugh Jackman...give it a rest; it's tired.

Christian Hoff and LaChanze's total looks of suprise that they won.
Sara Ramirez & T.R. Knight
Man in Chair's Drinking Game
Spamalot (i'm dreading jersey boys doing that next year.. it seems to be the previous year's best musical winner who does the bit)
julia roberts having to present immediately after the category she would have been in
paul rudd's need for lasik (luckily its in the gift basket)
LaChanze winning
Christian Hoff winning

Renthead Post... "Is this referring to the brief clip of a large black woman holding out a note till her eyes almost popped out and then taking a very loud breath before the last 'me'?
Sorry if that's a naive question, but I don't know what Jennifer Holiday looks like--if that's not her, who was that and what show? I loved it!"
Hey Renthead: Yep that large black woman was indeed the 1982 Tony Award Winning performer - Jennifer Holliday. She won for her performance in the musical Dreamgirls. The clip was from the musical Dreamgirls and the moment happens at the end of Act I, when she declares that she is not going anywhere, even though she has just been fired from a group that she help create.
The above pics are:
Pic 1 - from the musical Dreamgirls (JH is on the Far left)
Pic 2 - A somewhat more recent pic of her.
Hope that helps a little. :)

1. JLY winning
2. Christian winning
3. JB winning
4. JB performance
5. I've watched it a few times now, and like watching the other nominees when they realize they haven't won. By far my favorite reaction is Sutton Foster's. When they say "LaChanze" she mouths the words "Oh, good!" and looks over at LaChanze. It looked like a very genuine reaction.
6. Loved Alan Cumming getting away with singing the word "f**ked" just softly enough that he wasn't bleeped by the network.
7. Michael Cerveris. The spit, the singing, the acting - all of it. Wow.
When the boys all went up on stage when they won for best play. YAY.

Thanks, Show2n2.
I thought it might be her, so i google image searched her name, and all I really got was that recent picture of her in which she looks a LOT different (atleast to me).
Something about the fact that Mark Ruffalo had to present Best Director to someone other than his own (who was nominated!) makes me really angry. I didn't know where else to put it so there it is!

- Christine Ebersole's ear-piercing shriek as soon as John Tartaglia read Christian Hoff's name.
- Christian Hoff winning, and his amazing speech, which proves how a nice, unexpected award can really make an evening.
- LaChanze's adorable win.
- Patti rockin' out during the opening number.
"Show Off" Drowsy Chaperone. It was so funny because my dad kept saying "Oh, I'm not paying $100 for that!" He's SO funny.

Michael's spit scared me!
The Wedding Singer performance (I want to see it again so bad)
Joanna Gleason's "HALF MAD?" double take (I cracked up)
The Pajama Game performance was really cute.
The Color Purple performance was fantastic.
The Threepenny Opera left me with a feeling of..."what...on...earth..." Thats what the audience seemed to be thinking, I felt it did not fit in with the rest of the shows, though both Cumming and Lauper were excellent.
I thought Drowsy Chaperone was also flat, I didn't really enjoy it at all, except make me wish I could perform and look as great and effortless and sound as good as Sutton Foster.
Not having seen the show before, I really enjoyed the Drowzy Chaperone number. I guess it's even better in the show.
Definitely Christian Hoff's win. I was lying in bed watching and when they announced his name, I jumped up and nearly screamed.
And John Lloyd Young's win, the "Jersey Boys" performance w/ Joe Pesci and the Four Seasons/ the win, and the Sweeney number - even though I had hoped for "Not While I'm Around" or "God That's Good" to be in there somewhere... but Michael Cerveris' entrance scared the hell out of me!!! :)

Rentaholic2, the full clip from the Jennifer Holliday's Tonys performance is on Youtube. Just go there and search for Dreamgirls and you should find it. There have been a lot of great performances at the Tonys, but that was probably the most incredible.
Wow. Okay, here we go.
-clips from old shows, especially Evita. Patti is such a diva.
-Christian Hoff winning. His speech made me cry.
-John Lloyd Young winning. His speech made me cry.
-The Mary Poppins commercial. I really want to go to NY now.
-Beth Leavel's win and speech. Holla NC!
The performances were good, minus Threepenny. I especially loved Jersey Boys and The Wedding Singer performances. Just seeping with fun and energy.
When Alan and Cyndi did ThreePenny I loved that part!
I loved the jersey boys performance!everytime they sing"who loves you" it gives me the chills. When they were about to say who won for best featured actor in a musical me and my mother were on the adge of our sets, and when christian won we screamed and my mom started to cry, same when john won,and to top it all off it was the best when jersey boys won for best musical.I also loved "show off" even though i wish they showed the part when beth comes out with the straight jacket on,i don't remember if that is during "show off"because that was really funny, and when beth won!!she was so funny
