I don't think this one from RENT has been mentioned yet: What You Own (though I find Rapp's voice incredibly grating, and his robotic hand gestures on stage make me want to kick puppies, but love the harmonies with Pascal and I'd probably love it even more if someone else had sung it with him)

I agree with Matt and others: "We Make a Beautiful Pair" remains a beaut. I always thought two wonderful C&W singers should record it.

^^^ My apology to Matt. He mentioned "Beautiful Pair" first and I missed it.

I think some of the metaphors are a little rough: some of the pairs are things that must go together (locket/chain), others are true opposites (sunshine, rain) where one only appears in the absence of the other.

But the tune and the close harmony are truly lovely. It was always my favorite song in the show, even though I wouldn't necessarily call it the best.
