There's a silver lining to every dark cloud. Say something nice about shows and people you aren't crazy about.
Wicked-- I love the way it gets so many people into theatre. And I really like the opening number and "What Is This Feeling." It also made Kristin Chenoweth and Norbert Leo Butz household names, which they definitely deserve.
Ruthie Henshall-- She has a very expressive face and a lovely clearness to her voice. She managed to stay on pitch and sing her way through the live recording of Les Miserable's TAC even though she was ill.
Spring Awakening-- "Totally F***ed" is catchy. The concept is interesting, and I like the costumes. It's a great opportunity for really talented young actors to get their chance to shine. There's something really liberating about watching it, too.
When it's over.
Ah. That, too.
Spamalot - it's, like, closing. All over the place.
Oh, fine. Okay, it probably deserves some prizes for being a musical that got straight men saying "hey, wanna go see a show?". Sometimes I feel theatre-goers are a little stereotyped (harhar) and it's nice to see producers willing to give us stuff that will reach out to the masses.
When Terrance Mann says "Oh, yes!" on the Beauty and the Beast cast recording. Don't like him usually, but that's one of my favorite things ever.
Hahahahaha, total opposite reaction from me, CATS!
(Basically, all of his spoken dialogue on that cast recording is hilarious. "Alright... alright... alright... NNNAAAAAAAOOOOW!")
don't forget "it's... it's... a SUUURRRRPRRIISSSEEE!"
I know a four-year-old who phrases everything the exact same way as OBC Beast when he speaks... though, like, nine octaves higher. Maybe Terry was, like, channeling his inner four-year-old? After all, the Beast is basically an overgrown spoiled child.
Young Frankenstein has one of the most intricate sets on stage and I did love seeing my money on the stage.
"A Little More Homework" is a really touching song from 13, and it makes me kind of tear up, especially when I think that in a few more years I'm leaving school forever. It seems like it could be a really touching graduation song.
"Defying Gravity" is a wonderful Act I closer, hands down a thrilling moment in the show and is definitely the reason I've seen Wicked twice.
Light in the Piazza is actually a great show. And yes, this totally counts because I really didn't like it at all before I saw it. Same with South Pacific.
The lighting in Equus was wonderful. As were any of the scenes with horses in them.
Jonathan Groff is nice to look at.
Audra McDonald in Marie Christine says something along the lines of "I can arrange to have the money you need given to you"
it's audra, so it's amazing, but anyone else and it sounds like a bad high school line reading.

13: The pure energy and youth of the cast.
Cats: The amazingness of "Memory".
Idina Menzel: She WAS amazing in Wicked. Even though she breathes weird.
Legally Blonde: How much fun it is.
"As If We Never Said Goodbye" is not only my favorite song from Sunset Boulevard, it's totally one of my favorite songs of all time. and it's not even really that good a song.
PiraguaGuy2, Idina does breathe weird! I've always noticed that!
Wicked- "Defying Gravity" is a cool moment (the effect, not the song itself) I also like the song "For Good"
Cats- I love most of the choreography by Gillian Lynne. Also, Elaine Paige is amazing!
Seussical- It is a very high-energy show. The score is very catchy.
The Fantasticks- Lousia and Matt have some wonderful duets together.
Hello, Dolly!- I love most of the male characters, and it's a great show for dancers.

Seussical- Amazing Score. Great kids show to proform and see.
Ragtime- Moving and I love the score
Wicked-A mega hit, with an it quality about it
grey gardens - christine ebersole
passing strange - there is a lot of lyrical genius in some of those songs

James Barbour - Well, at least he didn't do it with an underage BOY.
Mandy Patinkin-- Well, at least he doesn't sound like an underage GIRL, despite his name.

...I don't get it.
He sounds like a thirteen-year-old boy. I was going to make a comment about him, but couldn't figure out how to word it. Your post inspired me, but I guess mine still sucks. *Will have to work on my delivery*
Granted, I still think his range is outstanding, but his voice just rubs me the wrong way.
Lippa's The Wild Party - the riff in The Juggernaut. *and by riff i mean the guitar riff...actually wait the quartets riffing too...and the trumpet and finger snaps intro...okay the whole entire song!*
Wicked - Defying Gravity and some of the amazing belting throughout
Phantom - The Overture
Spamalot - it is damn funny, and got more people interested in Bway
I'd hardly call Kristin Chenoweth and Norbert Leo Butz household names.

Yeah, you're right. I was surprised how many little Suburbian nine- and ten-year-old kids know who they are, though!
Saturday Night Fever - Orfeh almost made the show worthwile. Almost.
Mammia Mia - hated the show, loved the concert-like encore/curtain call.
Pajama Game - Kelli O'Hara was good and I like Steam Heat and There Once Was a Man. Hated Harry Conick and don't like the show itself.
Light in the Piazza - It has a very traditional lovely score. Its just not my type of show.
Spelling Bee - I Speak 6 Languages is kind of catchy but I despise this show.
Erin Davie - She was good in Applause but I generally don't see the hype that was built up for her.
