Feeling Electric

"Light in the Dark" has got to be one of the most incredible songs I've ever heard. It is so powerful. Can't get enough of it. I LOVE in the demo with Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott (these two do every single demo together, I swear) when Norbert sings "night falls, I walk through the walls" instead of "night falls, I stare at the walls." Can't get enough of it. But yes, in all seriousness, Light in the Dark = amazing.

oooh I need to hear the sherie/norbert version :) haha. I'm guessing its the same thing as Let There Be Light, or was it changed? if its the same, YES. Let There Be Light is one of the most incredible songs ever. EVER. haha

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

No no. Light in the Dark is one of Dan's solos; and it's absolutely INCREDIBLE. It's the song right before Feeling Electric; and IMO, it is SOOO much better than Let There Be Light. So much deeper and more touching.

ooooh DUH, hahha, I actually made a playlist a while back of my fav songs and I've been listening to that more than the whole thing just cause the whole thing is soo long, and I'd totally forgotten about light in the dark.. now I have to go listen to it again :P

edit: ok, WHY is this not in my playlist??? hahah, its SOOO beautiful!! god, I cant believe I was skipping over it this whole time! I LOVE the strings in it and everything.. wow.

I've recently become interested with this show thanks to its overall concept, various sound clips I found online, and all the positive reviews posted on websites and forums. I hope everything falls into place for a full production. This show (along with a few others) might justify another trip to New York.

This show is so great!

Tina Maddigan, who plays Sophie in the biggest role of her young career, remembers "bouncing on the sofa as a child at home in Newfoundland, listening to ABBA records." GO TINA!!

This show hit close to home for me at the time I first listened to it. I had a lot of problems with my mom, and as a result I made a lot of the same choices that Natalie had made. It's a powerful show for me, and although it's sad, the songs comfort me.

yeah, I can actually relate to natalie a lot too. I mean, not nearly to that extent, but my mom and I tend to go the phases where we um.. do not get along. at all. And we happened to have been in one of those phases like a few days before I got the music. Again, it really wasnt THAT bad, and luckily I've never really made any bad choices or anything due to our shaky relationship, but I can just relate to some of Natalie's anger and everything. And I def know what you mean, the songs are comforting in a way.. even though theyre really sad. This show is amaing that way :) seriously, like it's one of the VERY few shows I've heard/seen where the ending is like, incredibly emotional and sad but somehow uplifting at the same time. Its like, even though its so sad, there's a sense of relief about it.. its incredible.

ok, I'm rambling. sorry bout that! haha

I know, right? anthony sounds SOOOO friggin amazing in this show. Like, really, best ever. haha

and it BETTER have another life :P But I want it to get to broadway in like... a year and a half or 2 years.. cause that's when I'm going to college, which will hopefully be in the city (I'm aiming for NYU). Therefore, I want it to be early on, with the OBC, when I get there and have the opportunity to see it lots! and the obc REALLY needs to be the nymf cast. haha

too bad this thread will be deleted because of snl89.

um, why, may I ask?

I actually was worried about it at first... because I'm fully aware that discussing it at all isn't exactly... legitimate... but I figured I would take my chances because, in fairness, I'm only discussing the show itself- nothing else. I happen to have not actually seen the show, but that doesn't mean I COULDNT have... so, I could be wrong, but I just dont feel like it was THAT bad to start it.

But beyond that, its been around for a while, and it hasn't been deleted as of yet... so... why would it all of a sudden be deleted? And I know its kind of been in hiding for a while since no ones posted in it for a long time, but even when it was being bumped alot it didn't get deleted... so.. I'm fairly confident it's ok :) Again, I'm aware its not totally legit, but there could be much worse imo.

I love Feeling Electric! (I hate finals.) I'm not quite sure how the two balance out...but I'll go with it.
