re: Feeling Electric

Really? I thought it said Winter 2008... Well, technically it could be the same thing. I think I'll try to go see it over Thanksgiving break, if I can. I think that's insane that both Phoebe and Skylar are leaving and headed for the same project...

re: Feeling Electric

Does anyone happen to know who will be playing Dr. Madden, Dan and Diana Brown? I think Anthony Rapp is still with it and I'm guessing Alice Ripley will be playing Diana.

re: Feeling Electric

According to the Feeling Electric myspace page:

Second Stage Cast (NYC)
*Greg Edelman - Dan
*Alice Ripley - Diana
*Van Hughes - Gabriel
*Phoebe Strole - Natalie
*Skylar Astin - Henry
*Anthony Rapp - Dr. Madden

I assume that this is official and updated. Who knows though.

re: Feeling Electric

Amy Spanger would've made me happier, but nonetheless what an AWESOME cast. I seriously hope I can make it out to NYC to see this production.

re: Feeling Electric

It'll be wonderful, even though I haven't heard of half that cast, but with a show like this it totally can't fail.
#106

re: Feeling Electric

That might be the Second Stage workshop cast. I feel like when the production is cast, there will be a press release before the information is on MySpace.

re: Feeling Electric

I don't know. Would they even do another workshop? In the picture, it says a workshop, but they've already done three for the show. You think they'd have enough to work on. But don't they have to open out of town? God, I'm getting confused.

re: Feeling Electric

We'll find out for sure soon enough I guess. I liked Joe Cassidy in the NYMF cast, though I would love to see Greg Edelman.

re: Feeling Electric

Who's Henry? haha either I missed something or they added a new character.

re: Feeling Electric

^ That's what I said. I don't recall there being a Henry before.
I'm not a gay stereotype. I'm a coincidence.

re: Feeling Electric

Me too! Normally when preparing a show for off b-way, don't they cut charactrs, not add them? But it's Skylar, so I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. God, his voice is just... *melts*

re: Feeling Electric

There wasn't a Henry in the NYMF production, but there was a character (whose name I don't remember) who got high with Natalie. Maybe they rewrote that character. Or perhaps a brand new one. It is a work in progress still.

re: Feeling Electric

I'm really glad they kept Anthony Rapp as Dr. Madden. He's so great as that role, like in the end of Feeling Electric: "How are you feeling today?" That is so great.

re: Feeling Electric

This sounds really cool.I'd so go see if I could could. The cast sounds good too, though I don't really know of any of them other than Anthony, who I love.

re: Feeling Electric

No, not an upcoming workshop -- the previous one.

I don't remember the name of Natalie's boyfriend -- was it Henry? He was doubled in the NYMF production.

re: Feeling Electric

Her boyfriend's name was Conner (Tweak), and that actor also played Natalie's brother Gabriel and Dr. Fine I think (the psychopharmacologist - sorry spelling). Maybe they changed his name to Henry now, or it could be just an entirely new character I guess.

re: Feeling Electric

Unless something comes through a Playbill press release, nothing is official. Take myspace (especially ones created by fans) with a grain of salt.

And Emcee is correct, re: previous workshop cast.

re: Feeling Electric

I just looked at the Feeling Electric Myspace page. Carnimiriel incorrectly posted information. The page clearly says:

2007 Workshop at Second Stage Cast (NYC)
*Greg Edelman - Dan
*Alice Ripley - Diana
*Van Hughes - Gabriel
*Phoebe Strole - Natalie
*Skylar Astin - Henry
*Anthony Rapp - Dr. Madden

Not necessarily the cast for the upcoming production.

I recognize the addiction to being alive.

re: Feeling Electric

Right, well I'm sure an official announcment will be made through Playbill before it's myspace gets one. That's the most recent cast though. I wonder if any changes will be made.

re: Feeling Electric

Hopefully, Michael Arden as Gabriel and Amy Spanger as Diana. :)

re: Feeling Electric

The myspace isn't run by fans.

I loved Joe Cassidy, but I'd love to see/have seen Gregg Edelman take on the role. That "Henry" business is crazy stuff.

re: Feeling Electric

Fair. But it's not run by Second Stage.
#123

re: Feeling Electric

Got it. I have a hard time reading text on a black background and only read the part after Second Stage. Oh well. I'd still like to have seen Greg Edelman. So did anyone get to see the workshop and knows who Henry is supposed to be?
#124

re: Feeling Electric

Henry's probably either a friend of Tweaks or he's some doctor... does the psychopharmacologist have a name? Could he be Henry? I like calling him Pharmy.

re: Feeling Electric
