Here's a letter of mine that TIME OUT published in April, which may or may not have contributed to this brouhaha:
Vow veracity
In his review of Irena's Vow [Theater, TONY 705], Adam Feldman states that playwright Dan Gordon has an "impulse to tart up the story, as when he invents a major plot point involving the birth of a baby among the hidden Jews." Following the April 2 performance, there was a Q&A involving the daughter of Irena and a man representing himself as the one born in hiding. So who is full of crap?your reviewer, or was that an imposter and fraud who stood on the stage of the Walter Kerr Theatre and took questions from the audience?
