lol Toxic remains one of the best pop songs of all time, and the lyric is slightly different ("I need a hit, baby, gimme it")

It's camp, if that's what you want. It's cringe, if we're judging it by genuine rock standards (how I weep for the poor drama boy playing this when the school bullies are around, thinking it won't sound like his other showtunes), but it's the musical equivalent of Joel Schumacher movie, which was  pseudo-MTV, so probably right.
