I am breathless with anticipation. Have been for years. It may ultimately fail and go down in a blaze of glory, but whatever it is, it will be amazing.

Wow, sounds like this will be just as schizophrenic as The Lion King.
You will have the Spiderman Mythology on one hand and Taymor's pretentious additions on the other. Spiderman's universe doesn't need the interwoven Greek Mythology.
Just as The Lion King had absolutely no emotion in Do You Feel the Love Tonight, trading the concept of young love for a Taymor fashion show complete with copulating Africans on wires, so too I fear will this show.

i think this is one show that won't get that many celebrity stunt casting given the amount of work the actor would have to put in.

As a cynic of the show from its early development, I got to admit it looks visually spectacular. How the rest fits will be interesting to see. Cannot wait for the upcoming 60 Minutes episode.
