I'm looking for any showtunes that have anything to do with food. Any suggestions??
From Sweeney Todd:
The Worst Pies in London
A Little Priest
God, That's Good!
From As Thousands Cheer:
Supper Time
Sorry that's all I could think of, but this is not exactly a conventional question!
Food Glorious Food
Hominy Grits
Jerry Likes My Corn
They do mention food in Five Fifteen
Master of the House describes the lovely fixings of the inn
La Vie Boheme has mention of booze and during the dialogue there's mention of food
Mungojerry and Rumpleteazer describes them stealing food
A Little Priest
God That's Good
The Worst Pies in London
Toledo Surprise from Drowsy Chaperone

There's a song called Sara Lee but I have no idea what it's from or even if there is a recording of it. One of my friends performed it in college. It is really a great character piece. I'll do a search for it.
It's a Kander and Ebb song. It appears in their musical revue "'And the World Goes Round."

Thanks thesondhead. I had just found it on google.
It really is a great song. I need to add it to my repertoire.
Chow Down from the Lion King
The Cake I Had (gawd didn't realize how many food songs were in that show)
Be Our Guest
"Sugar" and "Sunday" from Tick Tick BOOM
Spoonful of Sugar
Does Feed the Birds count, too?
"This was a Real Nice Clambake" from Carousel
"Big, Blonde, and Beautiful" from Hairspray references food a good bit
Eating Raoul from 'Eating Raoul'
Oh, "Suppertime" is such a sad song.
Don't forget "Les Poissons" Hehehe, hunhhunhhunh.
'I Can Cook Too' -On The Town
How has nobody mentioned Be Our Guest?
I did-look above.

BIGGEER IS BETTER from WHEN PIGS FLY
has a lot of food references and John Tracey Egan sings it hysterically on the CD.
