For 'Jeopardy!' junkies: Drew Goins is such a winning contestant and Broadway buff

I've been rooting for Drew Goins, a fellow journalist, on ''Jeopardy!'' and last night, he advanced to the semis of its ''Tournament of Champions.''

Besides his encyclopedic knowledge of trivia and high-speed skill at solving anagrams, he says he and his boyfriend are ''big, big musical guys.''

Asked on Reddit to name his favorite musical, Goins said: ''Ragtime. The sweep! The score! The story! Also an absolutely unreal performance by one Audra McDonald.'' Goins, who writes for the Washington Post, adds that he's excited to see ''Floyd Collins'' and wants to catch Orville Peck in ''Cabaret.'' 

Here's hoping that Goins gets to tackle ''Broadway'' and ''Musicals'' among the categories during the rest of his remarkable run on ''Jeopardy!''

Drew was also asked to fill in for Lisa Ann Walter on Celebrity Jeopardy so we will be seeing a lot more of him. 
 

Also, Corbin Bleu is scheduled for Celebrity Jeopardy on 2/5.

Drew is taking Lisa's place in the Tournament of Champions (she couldn't participate because of Abbott Elementary filming commitments). Looks like his game airs Thursday
