Front Mezz at the Eugene O'Neill

I'm getting out to NYC for the first time in a few months, and I'm seeing Spring Awakening and Book of Mormon. For BOM, I was so happy to get Front Mezz Row A Seat 2. It was $50 more than the Orch price ($20, and I hope it's worth it. For another night, it was $399, so I thought it was a total steal. Anyway, how is the Front Row Mezz at the O'Neill?

It's great.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

It really is a great seat, but I remember feeling a little further away from the action as in other theaters like the St. James or the Imperial.

I saw the original Spring Awakening production from the front mezz at the O'Neil and remember it being a great view. Enjoy!

I believe the OP meant that they haven't been to the city in a few months, not that they are coming in a few months.

Thanks, TheGingerBreadMan. Of course I know it closes! I haven't been to NYC since October was what I was saying. I'll be there 1/16-1/18, before SA closes. And thanks everybody else! I'm so excited to sit here & see BOM (and SA)!!

The view is great but the legroom is very tight and the seats are narrow. It's probably my least favourite professional theatre I've ever sat in.

I personally prefer front row mezz over most other seats in any theater (view is unobstructed) though legroom at times suck. If you're a big guy, having the aisle seat is great.
