I only saw the show once 2 years ago, but I remember that "True Love" was a major snooze, and the show came screeching to a halt, which made the restless children start screeching, as well. Based on the performance on Kelly and Ryan, I would probably see the show again. The new song is far more engaging, and Anna actually looks younger than Elsa, finally.
The new song is really lovely. Really develops their bond and struggle as sisters far more then For the First Time in Forever reprise, and giving Kristoff a reprise likely helps his development with Anna.
I think cutting True Love was probably for the best.

Plus I think the freezing of the theatre was a good wow moment."

I did a tour of the New Amsterdam last year and they showed us the costume room where all the Frozen costumes were stored with the Aladdin ones due to lack of storage space at the St. James.
I thought the performance on Kelly and Ryan was great. Ciara and McKenzie seem to have good sibling chemistry. I do think the Carolines from the tour should be the ones to record the new song since they debuted it but I also know that's not very likely.
I haven't seen this posted here yet but Ciara and McKenzie are in the recording studio today recording the new song. Both have posted about it on Instagram.
