I heard that Idina's role was now confirmed!
Greg Ausiello said she was playing another glee club's instructor.
Ok.
It doesn't matter what EEEYYYYYEEEEDDEENA plays, the Wicked fangirls are counting the days until EEEYEDEENA and CHENO are in the same scene since it was confirmed Cheno is back next season too. The Grimmerie girls are EXCITED!
I actually do not like Wicked all that much but even I am looking forward to the prospect of the characters crossing paths just because I would love to hear the dialogue that would likely be some inside joke.

I'm probably gonna get this thread deleted by writing this but I was under the impression that there's some friction between those two.
Idina solved the "friction" problem when she won the Tony over Chenoweth. Better luck next time (though not with P,P-eek).

Anyone else know what's goin' on with those two?
I don't think there's been a picture of the two of them together since Wicked despite their being at several of the same events. So there's that.

Dang!
I've not heard of any "bad blood" between to the two of them. But would be fasinated but what it could be.

And even if it's not, people will surely make it as such. Just as they made a big deal out of Stephanie having the line "no good deed goes unpunished" in 9 to 5 and (for a while though it's now cut) Alice having a line including "the devil you know" in spite of those having been well-known phrases for years before either Side Show or Wicked were in the picture.

The line was originally spoken by another character, but given to Stephanie J. Block because she said it in Wicked. So, in that instance, it actually was done intentionally.
The difference is that the writers of Glee would no doubt attempt something like that as a wink at Wicked and its fans. It's one thing if it's subtle and well done, but Glee has a tendency to hit you over the head with it's not-so-inside jokes.

Well to be fair, it started with Michael Riedel stirring up his usual s**t but apparently there's evidence of it in Kristin's book. I havent' read it so I can't say much on the subject. I'VE certainly never been able to get a straight answer on this whole deal.

Even Joel Grey commented on it.
There's not really any evidence Chenoweth's book. In fact, she refutes the rumors. She doesn't state that they're friends, just that they have an enormous amount of respect for each other.
Now, how much of that is true, and how much of it is Chenoweth trying to make herself look good for all posterity is entirely debateable.
By the way, it was Page 6 in the NY Post, not Riedel, who broke the story of the supposed "feud" between them. They even had a quote from Joel Grey about it. Apparently the trouble began during the catfight scene when Chenoweth was in the neck brace. According to Grey in the Post, Chenoweth felt Menzel slapped her with a bit too much gusto.
"...Chenoweth felt Menzel slapped her with a bit too much gusto."
And THAT is why Menzel won the Tony.

Here's my proposed storyline:
Idina is the director of a rival club. She also turns out to be the birth mother of Rachel who she gave up for adoption 16 years ago. Haven't decided how to work Cheno in, but can't wait to see them together again. I don't really like this show, but I keep watching it - mostly because of Jane Lynch.
Still like the idea of Cheno being Angela's "popular" sister on "The Office". How funny would that be.

Is this wishful thinking, or is there a possibility this could actually happen? I would loooove it!

Damn straight us Glitter Girls and Fanzels are counting down the minutes and we're proud of it.

Kristin on "The Office" is just wishful thinking on my part. Remember when she won the Emmy she said she wanted to be on "The Office," "24", or "Mad Men". I just think she'd be a hoot as uptight Angela's wild and crazy sister.

The fact that THOSE are your titles, regardless, just make me cringe. I feel bad for you. I pray to God that you're being sarcastic.
I'm a huge fan of both ladies and those titles make me cringe too, as do lots of their fans. That said, a Kristin/Idina reunion would get me to actually watch Glee.
