GYPSY revival cd release

The cd of GYPSY (2025) is one of those flimsy, ugly digipacks. We should be thankful for the booklet but there is no title notation on the black spine. I'm flashing when WB finally released Prince's The Black Album. At least that still comes in a jewel case. This GYPSY is going to get lost amongst my other GYPSY. The cd sounds great but the package is cheap.

You can buy jewel cases (pretty cheap) and even make your own title for the spine.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I actually prefer the digipaks. More reminiscent of vinyl. To me, the plastic cases look cheap. I hardly ever buy CDs anymore, but digipak might convince me. Takes up less space, more environmentally friendly. I remember they used to be the standard for Masterworks re-releases of OBCRs such as Company, On the Twentieth Century, Chicago and more. I snapped them up.
