Exactly what I thought.
I saw the 25th anniversary production of Les Miz which launched at Paper Mill, but was technically a touring production. I could see that happening with the Bodyguard as well...
42nd Street, Kiss Me Kate, and If/Then were my first thoughts too! Maybe Cinderella for the milkmaid?

Any chance the one on the upper left would be 'The Tap Dance Kid'?
or maybe a reference to "Tap your troubles away" from Mack&Mable?

My guess is:
42nd Street - (tapping feet)
Million Dollar Quartet - (See you later alligator - and he's waving - sort of)
Side Show (twin arms)
The BodyGuard (The lady is running towards a yellow "U"
The Producers (Milk maid as Max talks about in the show)

Another thought - could the alligator/crocodile mean "Peter and the Starcatcher?"
The first one could be Top Hat, that was rumoured to transfer from London to Broadway, so if you cannot do it directly do it indirectly.
I like the idea of Top Hat (I saw the show twice in London and it's become one of all my all-time favorites), but I feel like they would perhaps make a reference to the feather dress, and/or "top hat and white tie and tails" instead of just the tapping feet. Just a thought.
Another thought. Papermill is pretty established as an out-of-town tryout for new shows that hope to come to Broadway. Wouldn't is be likely that at least one of those is something that's currently in development, something that has currently had a reading or workshop (or lab)? Everyone so has been listing existing shows, either classics or London transfers...
Paper never make this easy, if they put top and tails that would be a give away, only a mere suggestion it could be Top Hat, could easily be the original suggestion 42nd Street.

its not If/Then why would it be If/Then when the first national is still happening
I hate these because they make me realize what a dope I am with picture puzzles .
I think the arms are Lumiere's from Beauty and the Beast.

Or probably they're just terrible clues
Ding ding ding ding...."The Bodyguard" is correct.

This could just be me, but I wish they could just tell us what the shows are. These puzzles are more annoying, than fun for me.
They've been doing these for at least 6 years now, they're not going to stop these. I think it is a pretty fun way of building anticipation for the announcement.

Here is the middle picture. They simply added a filter. From "Lend Me A Tenor".
Seems an odd choice to do that again so soon.
- I'm hoping the crocodile is Peter and the Starcatcher.
- The Bodyguard should be interesting.
Maybe it's the Lend Me a Tenor musical?
If the tap step is indeed a shuffle, maybe it's "Shuffle Along" ?
Maybe the newer sequel to Lend Me a Tenor -- A Comedy of Tenors, recently staged at McCarter? Or would they not be likely to repeat a McCarter show so soon.
And for the alligator, how about Swamplandia, the Musical? Did anything happen with that after last year's premier at Yale?

I don't think so
The Bodyguard Natl. tour starring Deborah Cox is indeed launching at Papermill in the fall.
