I managed to catch the season finale of Glee the other day having not watched since Season 1 and WOW, Lea Michele's voice has gone down the crapper. In her SA days, it was powerful and full-bodied and now it's just this throaty, strained pitchy shriek.
Matthew Morrison's even worse. There were hints of him letting himself go when he performed at the 2010 Tonys not quite up to scratch, but his Olivier performance a few weeks ago was a complete shambles - he was wheezing like Homer Simpson after running a marathon. I do feel bad for him being contracted for so long on Glee though, he literally just looks like he can't wait to go back to bed on the show.
Not to say either of them will have a hard time finding work on Broadway once Glee is canceled and they realize their film careers will crash and burn. They used to be so talented and now...not so much. Shoutout to all those young budding Broadway stars who dodged a bullet with Glee - wise decision.
I find your comments idiotic.
Well, it's another idiot troll after all. Let's see ... he/it joined today and makes a post that is clearly meant to be provacative and is clearly troll-like. If it walks like a troll ...

Woah didn't know there were so many Glee fans up in this joint
Actually, there AREN'T a lot of Glee fans here at all. But folks do know a troll when they see one.

Lea Michele once had a powerful and full-bodied voice? Hmmm that's news to me.
Lea Michele still sounds amazing! I believe the damage which you are referring to is the same one that comes with any long Broadway run in a demanding role.
Oh, please. The amount she sings now, is NOTHING compared to an 8 show week on b'way -- even for a non demanding role.
Oh I know, I don't believe she's had the damage the OP's talking about. My post was in response to this comment:
