Well this explains why it took so long for the Dracula Cd, he started a new label.

Hmmm... so Frank and Jeremy are doing a venture for musicals? Does this mean he is not longer Linda's Musical Director?

I hope they recording Waiting for the Moon. So anyword on the release date? I mean it says "awaiting release"...for Dracula.

I'm happy now because after seeing a sneek peek of "Dracula-The Musical" on Broadway.com....I wish I could here more of the music...plus it made me want to see it..but it closed..boo

I'm not sure about the Cyrano cast but I can not wait to find out. The music is gorgeous!

So is the "Dracula" CD going to be new people he brought in, or is it just a hodge-podge of all the pre-Broadway demos?

This CD also includes music that was not in the Broadway show. Also, it includes orchestrations that Frank wanted. This new recording is very rock 'n roll as opposed to the bland synthesized Doug Besterman orchestrations from the actual show.

CYRANO is beautiful. It's very different from Wildhorn's other stuff, even though he still has his big leading male ballads in there. ("BRING ME GIANTS" and "ALONE") But, some have compared the rest of the music to Gilbert and Sullivan, which I don't really see at all, but to each his own.

Wildhorn was very unhappy with DRACULA, from what I've heard. This could just be rumor, I don't know. But from a pretty reliable source, Frank wanted the entire show to be rock 'n roll. Plus there were 6 songs that he wrote for the show that Des McAnuff (dir) would not put back in the show. Also, there were a bunch of connecting scenes that Christopher Hampton and Don Black wrote for the show that Des cut out as well. That is why the show made no sense.

I can not wait to hear this new recording to hear DRACULA the way Frank Wildhorn intended it to be.

PS: The European production has just opened in it's 2nd season and it's being presented the way the show was intended to be. The show is a success.
