I really hope it does not close! They are trying to see if they make enough money in box office after the tonys and if not, they close

That show made me want to gouge my eyes out; curious though to see Corbin Bleu on the Tonys.
They've pulled all the stops. You can't blame them for wanting to do better business and keep people employed. I wish them nothing but the best.
Ken Davenport, do the world and yourself a favor and just. let. it. die. already.

I just don't think the show has it to stay open any longer. I haven't seen the show and don't know much about it, but it doesn't seem like something that people are going to rave to others about. I hear it's a good time, but not to the point that you'll tell everyone to go like other shows. It's sad but I think Godspell is on its deathbed. A shame that Hunter Parrissh couldn't stay longer. That man has the voice of angels, perfect for Jesus haha
And with the performance they picked, ticket sales probably won't be going up at all. They're doing Day by Day, By My Side, and All For the Best, which they've done on almost every show they've visited and it hasn't helped. And I feel like it's not the best representation of the show. It didn't excite me at all.

Yea...it's about time. That show didn't do it for me, although I will say the cast was really good. Godspell just isn't relevant anymore and theater has changed so much since it came out.

I absolutely love this show. It's the best thing I've seen all year and I'll be very upset if it does close.
"Long live God!"
...Hands on a Hardbody to play Circle in the Square?
I hope not. I'm pulling for Arena's "Oklahoma!".
No bad will to "Godspell" though. They're truckin' it hard.
Hardbody would be interesting in the round, but I too, am pulling for Oklahoma.

Name one show where they have done By My Side.

not sure why there not taking a last stand and doing We Beesche Thee its by far the best number in the show
The article says they're doing "Day by Day" and "Light of the World." (Which are the two songs they have done previously.)

"We Beseech Thee" would require trampolines. I mean, you can "hear" them in the orchestration.
