there are 40 orchestra and 100 Mezz (30 front, 70 rear) left and locked… the round numbers make it seemed planned to lock at that point so who know why/when to be released

How did you manage to get TLK's reopening? Both TLK and Aladdin's first nights on ticket master are saying "on sale date and time are in the works - please check back". I've been trying to get Aladdin's reopening all morning so any help/advice would be really appreciated. Thanks

LK went live at some point within the last hour. I checked because that was my back up to Wicked, but of course this whole affair has become reopening Hunger Games. I checked Aladdin not 5 minutes ago and it's still hasn't gone live so...be prepared. (Said without irony ;P)

The Book of Mormon is also returning Sept. 14.
Moulin Rouge is returning Sept. 16 be will only be doing 5 or 6 shows a week like Chicago."
Has Moulin Rouge been formally announced? Can't find any information on ticket sales!

Wait....what the heck, I KNOW I saw LK go live, it was sold out within 15 minutes...but yeah it's back to being on hold. Call me nuts but I really think there should have been better warning all around.

All shows were on sale when the GMA announcement happened - demand is very high, so they're dealing with releasing holds or just cycling through purchases. This was a very big, coordinated event for multiple entities with hundreds of moving parts. Things like an email showing up at 8:37 instead of 8:30 is due to the way mass emails roll out in batches (systems can't email 2 million people at once; servers will crash). Ticketmaster is being Ticketmaster. Shows all posted on social the moment the news was out.
Other than telling people tickets on sale tomorrow, there wasn't much to be done differently.
And no, WesternSky2, Moulin Rouge! hasn't announced yet; be sure to follow them on social, subscribe to notifications (consider doing so for the theater news sites like this one as well), and you'll know as early as possible. You can also subscribe to MR on SeatGeek and they, too, will notify you.
Thank you veronicamae! I've now subscribed to so many notifications I imagine they'll also send me a carrier pigeon at this point 😂

This made me cackle!
And thank veronicamae...sadly I've given up. BUT....while I'm not huge on Six, I'm proud of it for it's selling out the fastest. The first few days/week are already gone. The tourist mainstays aren't even close to selling out anything other than opening night.

I stop refreshing for half an hour and nearly miss it! Ah well, got decent seats in the mezz so I'm happy! Thanks for the head ups :)
Where can we see the promo with Heather Headley?
Waiting for word on Hadestown reopening - unless I missed it. Didn't see any dates on the Hadestown official website.

I'm also refreshing the Hadestown page in anticipation of the announcement. I would love to be in the room when Andre DeShields* gives his first "A'ight?" to the audience. Crossing my fingers that they announce a date that I can do.
*Yes, I know there's the possibility that some cast may not return. But you can't blame a girl for hoping.

The Aladdin announcement was on GMA3. They also are doing a ticket package where you get tickets to both Lion Kong and Aladdin (I saw Mezz was around $149 center orch $249) and no Ticketmaster fees and no fees for cancelation.
YES! I take a small amount of pride (see what I did there?) in recognizing voice over actors and I knew it was Heather Immediately!
