As one final addition to that ever lingering question of what side of the theater offered the best view, I thought it was interesting to see everyone associated with the production was in the odd numbered 200's. And while that may just have been where the house seats were allocated, Lisa Kron and Alison Bechdel actually stood during the performance and were on that side of the house as well. 

 Those do seem to be the best seats. It's where I sat and it seemed ideal.

How cool! You must have been sitting right behind me, Rebecca was seating directly behind me. My boyfriend and I were talking to her in the lobby and she couldn't have been sweeter. I just went to tell her how big of a fan I was and she had a ten minute conversation with us, talking about the show, asking us for our names, what we do for a living, etc. I told her my boyfriend has never seen the show before and she went on and on about how special it is and how lucky he was for this to be his first time with the show. After the show she asked how he enjoyed it and we talked again briefly. Seriously a class act.

Did you mean just Michael and Gabby stood near the band...or the entire cast?? Classy.....musicians are often overlooked. I always clap at the end of the exit music, no matter where I am.

Michael the musician is as classy as Michael the actor ...with Gabby along for her nightly ride.  XO

That picture is precious - thank you for sharing.

I managed to see the show twice during the Broadway run, but I unfortunately wasn't able to make it back one last time before it closed. Hearing these stories makes me jealous, but I hope to see the show again during the national tour.
