You have to love a guy who is honest enough to admit he's unambitious. Great article, fantastic guy, couldn't ask for more.

I first interviewed Cheyenne last summer - before 'Altar Boyz' began its run at the NY Musical Festival and before he got the lead in 'All Shook Up' - and I can say that Cheyenne was honest and frank even then. That's just the kind of guy he is. I'm happy to see him finally getting the attention he deserves.

Thanks, Wayman.

This Marc Kudisch quote from your interview is priceless: "Cheyenne is one of the most striking-looking men I've ever met, wow, and I'm straight. He's sweet, strapping as all get-out, and he's got a gorgeous voice and a humongous heart. I told him, 'Dude, you've got to come to New York.'"

I have never seen him perform but I'm totally a fan now. He seems like an awsome and genuine person.

I don't now him personally, but we have many friends in common. Everyone always says what a good and "real" guy he is. Very happy for his success.

Cheyenne Jackson should be chosen the Advocate's Man of the Year for 2005! (Anybody with connections to the Advocate out there?) His Broadway stardom (and future stardom in other media) is one of the greatest steps forward for the gay community that I can think of. Cheyenne shatters all the myths that publicists and personal managers use to keep their gay celebrity clients closeted and living in fear. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Cheyenne is my HERO!

I'm HEARTBROKEN. I thought he was single....
