Honestly, this might attract some viewers if it were a live TV musical. Especially if it’s on ABC right off of Abbott Elementary. Would also love to see Amber Riley somewhere in this! She just won The Masked Singer.

I think that'd be outstanding, but the people you heard screaming about Katrina Lenk in Company would be yelling outside the theater that Sheryl isn't the right vocal type.

I don’t know, I think there are several beloved performances of actresses in the role that approach it vocally different. People just fall into the trap of comparing to Patti’s Rose most of the time.
