Marable is amazing as Persephone. Happy to see her land the role full-time for the tour.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
For those who may not remember, Barasch used to be a child actor on Broadway, and when he was in his teens, he was in Drood and She Loves Me at Roundabout. To my knowledge, this will be his first major role as an adult. How exciting for him! I bet he'll be super charming in the role. Too bad I probably won't get to see him - wish he was doing it on Broadway instead of Reeve.
I’m looking forward to the tour- Levi Kreis is very different than Andre, so I’m intrigued at how he will step into the role.
My absolute dream cast for the nextBroadway Hermès? Tom Waits. I just wasn’t sure if the role was exclusively black or not, but now it seems every role in the show is open to every ethnicity so long as the overall blend is tangibly diverse.
Wow, cast looks amazing! I’m bummed I’ll miss Patrick when I go in September (haven’t seen the show before) but Tom Hewitt sounds like he’ll be great! Also so excited Kimberly will be joining the tour - I loved her take on Persephone in the Tiny Desk concert.
you found your heart but left a part of you behind <3
He was terrific in Drood as well. Very excited for him, and it might just get me to SEE the tour - which I seldom do.
Have to find out when its here.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

I’ll be very curious how Kreis will interpret this. Andre brings such gravity and depth to the role. I feel that some of that is due to his age. He appears as a sage, a soothsayer, a wiseman, otherworldly. I was transfixed by his storytelling. I look forward to seeing this cast. It’s stacked with talent.

I almost never see tours BUT I do plan on seeing the Hadestown tour when it gets to Philly. I only recognize Kimberly Marable from the tour cast (phenomenal as Persephone btw) so I’m excited to see a bunch of new (to me) talent in this wonderful show.

You’ll absolutely love Kimberly as Persephone!! I’ve seen her understudy Persephone when Amber was out a few times and actually prefer Kimberly to Amber (I know, minority here).

I've seen Come From Away and Springsteen, Lizzie, and I thought that would be it for me for awhile, but I will absolutely see Hadestown for Hewitt."
I saw Hewitt as Sweeney Todd in Ptown two summers ago. He was marvelous I forgot how tall he was. He will cut an imposing presence in Hadestown. I envy those who will get to see him in the role.
