Saw them putting it up around 10 this AM, HAIR-ifying the Hirschfeld.
Window box-cards were up as well, with pictures of Will Swenson, Allison Case, etc. Looks like they're both transferring with it.
Interesting how they put up the actual marquee - they were using a penknife to slice it from the HUGE canvas sheet. the TALE OF TWO CITIES one was balled up in the corner.
Interesting that an article today made it sound like Swenson might end up choosing to stay with Rock of Ages. Of course, I don't remember which one!)
I heard they were seriously under capitalized & badly in need of investors
Will it open - stay tuned.

Really, Roxy? Where did you hear that insider information? Was it from the Michael Reidel column or the long thread linking to the Michael Reidel column?
In the same article, their lead producer said she would capitalize the rest of the money herself if she needed to. I wouldn't worry about Hair opening.
ill be in the city 2morw ill try to pass by and take some pics guys.

I hope the show doesnt get watered down for Broadway.

Watered down from what? The park's version?
I don't think you need to worry about that. What goes on in Hair is tame by today's standard.

I can understand how this quote could appear to be misinterpreted, but McCann did not say that she would capitalize it herself.
"I'll go on record and say I will capitalize ‘Hair' in the end. But it's very tough."

I'm reposting Yankeefan007's image, as I'm seeing a [?] on both browsers.
Nice pic. And a good shot too of Broadway's most despised tree.
Aww thanks jeremiah! Great shot! Really.... Filipinos Do it Better!

I sort of like the yellow background used on the website a little better, but this one is nice too. Very "winter" if that's what they were going for.
I think the word HAIR is supposed to be the SUN as in fiery red. and it looks to me as "Let the sunshine in" I thought its brilliant!

I love that theater. Standing across the street from it, it seems so gigantic!
