"Comedy or musical? Was the category always like that? Is this prep for Sweeney Todd? (Which may just have all the Depp fangirls introduced to Sondheim.)"

Since HSM it they have changed this category name. It has been like this for HSM, HSM2 and now HAIRSPRAY. Atleast we heard some teens go for musicals. HAIRSPRAY got the most applause in the audience. I think it even beat Zac Efron's applause. lool re: HAIRSPRAY Wins Teen Choice Award for Summer Movie Comedy/Musical!

I assure you, there are plenty of Depp fangirls left.

I deal with them on a daily basis. There's no shortage of teenage girls who love Depp.

I would hardly call Superbad "stupid," but I'm quite happy for Hairspray!

And this weekend it's BO finished 9th, which for a movie in it's, what, 6th week (?), ain't too shabby.

Well, it's the TEEN Choice awards, and Superbad was rater R. So 4 out of 7 teenagers weren't able to see it themselves. And lets be honest, Superbad is NOT a movie to see with you mother!

EDIT: As much as I loved Hairspray, I did like Superbad better. But that's like compairing apples to giant man-eating toilet paper.

whoop ee.

I hate the whole Musical/Comedy thing too. I wonder what will happen if Sweeney is good and gets some Golden Globe noms. Hopefully, they will put it in Drama.
PLEASE! Do not post anything negative or dramatic! DidYouReallyHearMe has LOST the ability to ignore such posts and he will comment! Please, help him.
