I saw the show twice over it's Buffalo run, and I just need to take a second and state how absolutely incredible Hannah Cruz and Austin Scott are. I had seen the original cast and thought it would be let down, but they were sensational as Eliza & Hamilton. Happy to see this level of talent on the tour.

Jon Viktor Corpuz also just joined in Buffalo as Laurents/Phillip and he is another great addition.

Man I could not agree more with those 2, and I'll add Nicholas Christopher to the mix as well. That tour is probably the strongest tour I've seen in terms of talent, ever haha. My entire family agreed they were better than Broadway, of course with no disrespect to them. But ya, this tour is incredible and if it will be your first time experiencing Hamilton with this cast, you're in for a treat

So, I just bought my first and probably only ticket to Hamilton for the Orlando tour. Tickets were unavailable to buy for weeks and finally opened up to purchase a week or two ago. The pricing was a little high for me, but I still sent a pm to Adam Greer, making him aware of it, since he lives in Orlando. The ticketing only stayed open for a day. Tonight I checked it and it was reopened with alot more availability especially for some performances. The ticket prices were $176.50, $249.50, $279.50 and $549.50 plus fees. All of the prices were the most I would have paid for a Broadway show, much less a concert. I opted for the $176.50 price which was for much of the balcony. I ended up getting the fourth row , center of the balcony. One row behind the $249.50 price point. With fees the ticket cost $206. So my question to all the fans who have seen this and sat in all different places, is this a half way decent seat for the price? I have sat way higher in this theater and thought the view was good, but I also only paid $50. Obviously, I could have sat closer, but didn't want to pay the high price. This is also coming to my city in 2020 and I may have gotten a better priced seat, but I think the quality of the tours that go to Orlando, are so much better. Thoughts? or Disses?

Artman: one thing that just dawned upon me is that you’re seeing the Philip Cast, the same group I saw in Cleveland back in July. The group I’m seeing on Jan. 6th is the Angelica Cast. After you’ve seen the show (what date are you going?) don’t forget to come back and give us your review. I really liked Joseph Morales as Alexander Hamilton, Ta’Rea Campbell as Angelica Schuyler, and Shoba Narayan as Eliza.

^ ^ ^ I plan on entering the “Hamilton” lottery every single day that it’s in Pittsburgh. Same for when it goes to Columbus, OH after leaving Pittsburgh. That’ll give me about seven weeks of chances.

I also downloaded the “Hamilton” app a while back and have been playing the trivia game every morning before my day really gets started. It’s actually kind of fun.

After “Hamilton” I have the National Tours of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, “Come From Away”, and “Dear Evan Hansen”, none of which I’ve seen before. Then I’ll have two shows produced by the Pittsburgh CLO: “Once” and “Oklahoma”. After that, the National Tour of “Hello, Dolly!”, again, for the third time. That takes me up to mid-August.

I’m for sure renewing my season tickets for Pittsburgh, so whatever is officially announced in March will take me through the latter part of 2019.

Plus, I’m still planing a desperate attempt at a quick trip to NYC in July to see either “Moulin Rouge” or Beetlejuice”, but I’ll probably be skipping it for a road trip that’s “non-theater”.

You did really good for your Hamilton ticket, since I paid about $80 more for Orlando. I have sat in the balcony at Broward and have not experienced the tickets to be that cheap, at least for concerts. Have fun.

Yeah definitely, I’ve sat in the Balcony at Broward Center a bunch of times since I see most of the Broadway national tours that pass through here, but I might bring binoculars since it’ll probably be my only time at Hamilton anytime soon hahaha.

I just thought the pricing distribution was interesting, especially since they didn’t publish the ticket prices beforehand, they were only shown once you got through the actual ticketing page through your Ticketmaster slot time, so I kind of just had to scoop up whatever came out. I’m glad they went through the precautions but given the technical difficulties we had I wish it could’ve been smoother. Sounds like their method in Pittsburgh is a lot more straightforward!

When Phantom of the Opera came in October, I paid $65 (including tax) per ticket for almost the same exact seat but one row in front (Balcony Row B). The rear balcony is usually pretty cheap for shows, around $40, though sightlines can be tough since the top of the stage can get cut off, but still doable. And my ticket to Audra McDonald’s concert in June there was $30 for a Mezzanine seat haha.

Obviously the ticket price increase isn’t surprising since it’s Hamilton, I just don’t think I’ve ever paid that much for a show at Broward. No doubt they’ll do the same thing to prices when Hamilton comes down here to Miami and for Lion King which they’re already selling for its stint in May here at the Adrienne Arscht Center.

I’ll definitely come back and post my thoughts! Should be an awesome experience nonetheless, and I’m excited to see how the Philip cast makes it they’re own!

dmwnc1959, Since you have to present your ticket at a bar, I would guess it is a beverage of some sort in a Hamilton cup. You're less than two weeks away, have fun and report.
