With these mostly rave reviews, HAMILTON will surely be extended or moved to Broadway very soon. Any official word?
As it stands now, it may transfer to Broadway this summer.
Is there any information out there to substantiate that, or is a summer transfer what you're guessing? In my mind, it would make more sense to wait until at least the fall.
As awesome as I'm sure Hamilton is, I will be really upset if it transfers this season and beats Fun Home at the Tonys. They are already selling tickets til May, so why don't they just take a break after May and open on Broadway in the fall?

Hamilton isn't transferring this season, that has been confirmed. Everything else is just a rumor.

I heard from a pretty reliable source (I know, I know...) that they'll be waiting until next season. How soon wasn't mentioned, but I think they'd be smart to wait. Maybe they can get another short extension at The Public, polish the things that need to be polished and give the creators time to perfect it, and then open it up on Broadway.
Moving...Broadway probably Fall > Rodgers as per an industry friend
The word out there, yes: Rodgers, autumn.
What a change of pace five days makes, huh? ^

not smart to go in to the Rodgers, They should follow the BOM example, smaller theater and keep ticket demand high.
Seems like there's a live (yet undetectable) Twitter account for the transfer already. Hmm…

on the up side, if it does go in to the Richard Rodgers and does not do as well as expected, I will be able to get tickets on TDF.

just because they are announcing something tomorrow doesn't mean its necessarily coming this season...hold your horses people
What makes you believe that, GreasedLightning?
This was all I could find.

Well they're clearly reserving the Twitter name, as people reserve domain names when planning to launch a website before they have content to fill it... but obviously they wouldn't deck it out in Hamilton-decor BEFORE the Broadway transfer was announced... hence what I meant by live (it exists) but undetectable (nothing on the page yet and not following anyone so it doesn't come up in any lists or follower suggestions).
This is the inner marketing manager in me talking.
Gotcha, that makes sense. I just didn't know if there was another handle you had found.

Playbill just posted this on FACEBOOK
Or at least it just popped up on my FB feed.
Is This Hamilton's Broadway Season? The Public Calls for Mysterious Media Event Tomorrow

Nope - that's the one!
That's the Playbill article that got all this talk stirring in the first place earlier this evening, if I'm not mistaken. Interesting to read that a Broadway press rep was included in the email chain about tomorrow's event.
We shall see tomorrow.
