HAS ANYONE HEARD ABOUT THIS NEW SHOW?

Hey there is a rumor going around that there is a great show opening tonight.(Wed. 2/11) I don't remember how I heard about this, but I'm sure it will be fun. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Or did I just dream it up?

But who is this robbiej you shill for? Where have we read from or about him? All too strangely familiar. Is he the one who comes out between show, signs for drinks, and only poses for photos if his makeup is on and the limo's not running?

Okay, ya got me. I am Robbiej's shill. But I only admit it to tell you that he will NOT sign ANYTHING that does not have the name BETTY'S SUMMER VACATION or Native Alienist Flatiron Theatre on it. (Unless it also says "Pay to the order of Miss Sueleen Gay",of course.) So don't get your hopes up.

I am also robbiej's shill and plant and huckster and anything else that filthy, talented, inglorious basthad wants me to be, I'm there, but this time if he pushes me out of the way as he stumbles to his waiting town car there is gonna be trouble! Just remember, no posting reviews until AFTER previews, and positively NO POSTING ALLOWED FROM LAPTOPS WHILE THE PERFORMANCE IS IN PROGRESS. However, if you have one of those cell phone/camera thingies, feel free to take pictures of the big nude scene and share them here!

Correct Sueleen, no early word,that means you Localonecrew, and speaking of those nude shots, I keep getting tons of them from robbiej, and I don't think they are ALL from the show! The ones with him and the late Halston are my favorites.

Performed with the semi-finals of the Strawberry One Act Festival.

I hear the stage manager (sound/light op) is easy, too....

Its a famous Christopher Durang Play ti opened a few years backa t plywrights horizons and now its doing another off broadway run

Broadway transfer

Okay, now this information is just for this gang here. No repeating in any other theater site or news outlet. But we are "in talks" to bring this show to a Broadway venue. Of course the "talk" is just between robbiej and myself. I asked him if I had permission to discuss this premature unbased rumor, but he never got back to me. Obviously he has something else on his mind this evening. But that's never stopped a good rumor.

Next up: Does anyone think the Tony committee will considered it revival? And in which category will robbie be nominated?

Next next up: Since SLG won't let us discuss the show in preview, would anyone care to review the dress rehearsal Anyone?...Corine?

The reason I didn't get back to my darling etoile is that I had so much preparation to do for the show (shaving, nails, make-up, wig) that I had to leave the day job early.

As for the move rumors...well...it's too soon to tell...let's just say that I'm planning my Tony speech.
