So, is this streaming once on 16 September?  or will it be available for viewing later?

The Roku Channel works like Netflix or any other streaming service. So, presumably, you will be able to stream it on demand indefinitely beginning on the 16th.

This might be unpopular, since I know a lot of fans are ride-or-die for the off-Broadway production, but this West End proshot feels much more consistent in terms of tone and aesthetic. I think the off-Broadway version didn't really know who it was trying to appeal to, and so it was a bit all over the place. The West End version seems to have found more of an identity by leaning into the camp and appealing to the young fans. Similar shows like Little Shop, and even O'Keefe's earlier show Bat Boy, work because they balance completely absurd camp with sincerity. I think this proshot manages that pretty decently.

Surprised at the lack of comments here - but I did watch this

I thought that this was shot and edited well, in general. The pictures for the commercial breaks were ... not always well thought out. The one after the bomb goes off is particularly .... humorous.

I didn't see Heathers off-Broadway - but there may be a video out there I have seen.

Act One is so camp - so winkjing about itself - but Act Two (after Dead Gay Son) flips into trying to be serious for moments. I can understand that the story itself gets more serious as Act 2 progresses so the "fun" has to end.

I think the additions to the West End show from the Off-Broadway were good - especially Never Shut Up Again.

My daughter saw most of this cast in June, and said the proshot captured much of the audience reaction she experienced - albeit perhaps it was a bit more over the top - but not much.
