So, I thought they were saving front row for a rush or lottery but it just went on sale this evening for every performance that is currently on sale. You can use a discount code too, so go buy them now. Being in the front row will be like being in the show!!
I believe the front row was taken out because some of the cast comes out by there in Aquarius. I believe it starts with row B.

I'd only pay rush price for that front row. It's obstructed.
It is way way obstructed!! I was near the front for Curtains, and Tale of Two Cities, and for Curtains, some of the front row walked out at intermission. For Tale of Two Cities, it was worse cuz, the show hard to follow. But sitting in the front row is definately obstructed, like gypsy, or Shrek! Bad bad seats. I hope they really are taken out!
Front row at the Hirschfeld = neck pain
Hmm i sat there for ATO2C and for $27 it could have been much much worse. Would sit there again for Hair but only for the same price.

I disagree that these are bad seats - I've been in the theater for rehearsals this past week and the front row is not excessively close to the stage - infact during the rehearsal that I was able to attend, the cast members interacted primarily with the people in the front row and the aisle seats in the front orchestra.
So you're affiliated with the production?
I have sat in the front row of the Hirschfeld for more shows than I can say, always at a rush price, because every single time, it has been obstructed.
Unless they somehow lowered the stage, or raised the seating, both of which would be pretty pricey ventures, there's no way that front row could not be obstructed.
Agreed, Foster.
I must be the only person who doesn't have a problem with the front row at the Hirschfeld. I sat there both times I saw Curtains and I enjoyed the show immensely from that vantage point. Hopefully it's the same for Hair.

I work there and any seat in the mezz. is good. You can see from all of them. With an exception for the boxes
Dreamz- have you seen any previews from the show? Is it good?

So does anyone know that now since they are selling the front row, what the rush seats are going to be?

WOW!
That info would have been great a couple of hours ago.
I am not sure that I would want a box seat for the first time, so it's fine.

Do they call the fans BE-INners?
Can't wait to see how this wonderful Park production is translated on the Broadway stage!
Has anyone sat in the boxes at the Al Hirschfeld? How partial are they?
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/25/08
Well, Dreamz made them sound bad.
The box seats are great if your sitting by the edge. If not, they seem extremely partial view.
